七ツ風の島物語 ~ Premium CD ~

If you’re a regular visitor of this blog then surely you must remember how excited I was, some months ago, to get ahold of a copy of the game Nanatsu Kaze No Shima Monogatari for the Sega Saturn. While I had never played it before my purchase, the game marked my childhood in the form of a few images printed on a magazine: I was utterly impressed by the art of the backgrounds, the richness of the colors as well as the outlandish characters inhabiting this bizarre universe. I even took the time to write something down in an article published at Hardcore Gaming 101, where you’ll find dozens of screenshots and even samples of character and background art - courtesy of Givro, Two Five, Crowd and Enix itself. Additionally, I began building a small website dedicated to the art of the game.

I’ve learned recently that many players who also admire this game, not owning the original copy, are having a hard time finding the second disk of the game, the “Premium Disk”, featuring dozens of original character drawings, sketches and matte art. In order to aid them find what they are looking for I compiled all the background images in a rather hefty RAR file and uploaded it so that everyone could download. This file comprises dozens of great quality images that can now be viewed in any computer in JPG format. Here’s a little sample of the game’s exotic scenery.

Don’t forget to spread the word.
